Danielle Pafunda is author of My Zorba (Bloof Books 2008) and Pretty Young Thing (Soft Skull Press). Her poems have appeared in Best American Poetry 2007, 2006, and 2004, and in a variety of journals. A poetics essay can be read at Action, Yes, and an interview can be read at Every Other Day. An excerpt from her recently completed manuscript Iatrogenic can be read at Hangman. She is co-editor of the online journal La Petite Zine, a moderator for the Pussipo Listserv for Women's Experimental Poetry, and a curator of the new online blog-journal Delirious Hem. In spring 2008, Danielle will be the poet-in-residence at Columbia College in Chicago. Her partner Adam Henne is an anthropologist, and their child Hazel is a wonder.
