A spring is a place of rising or issuing from the ground, the source or head, of a well, stream, or river; the supply of water forming such a source. A spring is a flow of water possessing special properties, especially of a medicinal or curative nature.
    Spring is also the action or time of rising or springing into being or existence. The appearing or coming on, the first sign, of day, morning, etc.; the dawn. Also, the beginning of a season. The first season of the year, or that between winter and summer, reckoned astronomically from the vernal equinox to the summer solstice; in popular use in Great Britain comprising the months of February, March, and April, in U.S. March, April, and May. Spring can be the first or early stage or period of life, youth, etc.  It can be used with numerals to mark a definite period, especially in the age of a person or animal.
