The Banquet
Date: Sunday, June 1st
Time: 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
We are planning a Southern-theme banquet, to be held in the high-tech natural setting (you'll see!) of State Botanical Garden of Georgia. Entertainment for the banquet will be provided by Trunkfire.
Cost: $45 per person.
The Excursions
* Excursion 1: Walking Tour of Athens
Date: Thursday, May 29th
Time: 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
The walking tour excursion gathering point will be in the Lower Lobby.
* Excursion 2: Plantation and Antebellum Housing Tour
* Excursion 3: Tour of the Sites of Atlanta ** CANCELLED **Date: Saturday, May 31st
Time: 11:00 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Participants will visit a real Southern plantation, and then tour historic houses in the famous town of Madison, Georgia, which (by legend) was so beautiful that Sherman refused to burn it on his March to the Sea. A box lunch will be provided.
The gathering point for the plantation excursion is the Lower Lobby.
Cost: $50 per person.
