WIP courses should be designed for 30 students maximum, but proposals for higher enrollments (discussion/writing sections, for instance) that focus on writing in interesting ways will be fully considered. Approximately 40 courses will be selected for AY 2003-04. Faculty whose proposals are selected will attend a planning session scheduled for August, submit a syllabus for the program web site, provide mentoring opportunities for TAs assigned to work with them, and honor guidelines for successful writing intensive courses available at http://www.english.uga.edu/wip.
