Professor LeAnne Howe takes part in virtual University of California, Riverside Writers Week

Eidson Chair in American Literature LeAnne Howe will take part in the University of California, Riverside's Writers Week. In it's 44th year, this is California’s longest-running free literary event, on Feb. 13 and Feb. 16-19, 2021. The event will honor three U.S. Poet Laureates and present 32 writers over 17 sessions, the most writers featured since the event’s inception.  All events are free and open to the public but attendees must register ahead of time.

Professor Howe's contributions include:

LeAnne Howe & James M. Fortier, cinematographer on Friday, Feb. 13th at 9:30 p.m.

Kazim Ali, Jane Smiley & LeAnne Howe on Wednesday, Feb. 17th at 6 p.m.
