The Jill and Marvin Willis Center for Writing offers support to students, faculty, and staff on a wide variety of writing projects. Our services are free of cost and available to all UGA writers. We are strongly committed to providing our community with support.

General Information

Booking an Appointment: To schedule an appointment, please visit our UGA WCW Penji Community or download the Penji app. You'll sign in with your UGA SSO credentials. You must have an active UGA account to book an appointment or work with one of our writing consultants.

Walk-in appointments are welcome in our MLC and Park Hall locations, pending staff availability. To guarantee a spot, we recommend booking in advance. You can find more information about our services, policies, staff, and mission here.

**Note: We will be closed August 1-August 16 during our summer-to-fall transition to prepare for the new school year.  We will reopen August 17. Hours for each location will be posted by August 14.

Other Information

Faculty/Staff Requests for WCW Presentations, Collaborations, and Special Events:

WCW Class Visits: If you are interested in booking a presentation or classroom visit during the fall/spring semester, please complete this class visit request form. Please request a class presentation at least 3 weeks in advance. 

Writing Retreats, Collaborations, Workshops, and other Events: If you are interesting in collaborating with the WCW on a special event, please complete this event/collaboration request form. Please submit requests at least 4-6 weeks in advance.
