LeAnne Howe, Eidson Distinguished Professor in American Literature at the University of Georgia, with the Creative Writing Program, is pleased to host poet and editor Pamela Uschuk for a reading and talk. Uschuk is the founding editor and current editor-in-chief of Cutthroat: A Journal of the Arts, a literary magazine started over eleven years ago.  Cutthroat publishes poetry, stories, and nonfiction, with a commitment to quality and diversity.  Writers Cutthroat has published in the past include Rita Dove, Naomi Shihab Nye, and Michael Martone.
