Born in Singapore to a Hainanese family of sailors, Jaco Beneduci grew up between the east and west. A graduate of UC Berkeley and UC Davis, he learned under the poets Robert Hass, Cecil Giscombe and Katie Peterson and relegates himself to the disciplines of English Lit. and Creative Writing: Poetry. He has since been published in a number of magazines: the latest being Issue 13.1 SAND THE GEARS –OF ZOOS (based in Singapore), and occasionally guest-lectures on topics such as writing, tricksters and folklore at UC Berkeley and Changan University. While studying at UC Davis, he was the secondary reader at the Holloway Series of March 2022 with Thalia Field and he last worked as a Foreign English Teacher in Jinan, (Shandong, China). As a half-blood, he prefers the term “mongrel."

Beau Farris is an experimental writer from Colorado and a PhD student in English and Creative Writing at the University of Georgia. He holds an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Colorado Boulder. His work has appeared in The Indianapolis Review, English Language Notes, Variety Pack, and other journals. His writing and research focus on visual poetry, experimental literature, media theory, and the relationship between language and technology. When he is not writing, he enjoys running and painting.

Shaheer Malik is a writer from Lahore, Pakistan working on his first novel. He has an MFA in fiction from Virginia Tech and a BA in English from Yale University. He has won the Emily Morrison Prize for Fiction and a Nathan Hale Associates Scholarship and has worked as staff and reader at Noemi Press, and as an associate editor at the New River Magazine. He has been published in Wild Willow Magazine and Paragraph Planet.

Augustine Obasi (he/him) is a Nigerian screenwriter and prose writer. He holds a bachelor’s in English Language and Literature from Nnamdi Azikiwe University and an MFA in Creative Writing from Northern Arizona University—where he served as fiction editor of Thin Air Magazine. He has received support from the Arizona Board of Regents and William M. Burke Scholarship. His works have appeared at Spellbinder Magazine, Decolonial Passage, and is forthcoming at The Carolina Quarterly, JMWW, Tabula Rasa Review and elsewhere. He writes about the human condition, myth, and the metaphysical world.
