Tina Borah is a Graduate Student in the Department of English. Her focus areas include postcolonial studies, migration literature, ecocriticism, third culture theory, narratives, and literature from the Northeastern periphery of the Indian nation-state. She is also a Teaching Assistant teaching First Year Writing to undergraduate students at UGA. She has also taught previously as an Assistant Professor (Ad-hoc), at Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, the University of Delhi in the Department of English.
She has received her B.A with Honours and M.A from the University of Delhi, in New Delhi, India. She specializes in migration studies and third culture theory with a special emphasis on the idea of home from a post-diasporic sensibility especially focussing on immigrant narratives from the 'Northeast' of India.
